The company is known for its commitment to quality, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.OverviewThe Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems. This role supports mission-critical equipment across customer sites and ensures system reliability, safety, energy efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The technician works independently or as part of a service team and serves as a trusted technical representative of the company.ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems including rooftop units [RTUs], split systems, chillers, boilers, cooling towers, heat pumps, and refrigeration equipmentPerform preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and emergency repairsTroubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control system issuesRead and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manualsService walk-in coolers/freezers, reach-in units, ice machines, and commercial refrigeration systemsDiagnose refrigerant leaks, compressor failures, control issues, and airflow problemsHandle refrigerants in compliance with EPA regulationsWork with building automation systems [BAS], thermostats, sensors, and control panelsVerify system performance using gauges, meters, and diagnostic toolsIdentify efficiency opportunities and recommend system improvementsCommunicate clearly with customers regarding system issues, repair options, and maintenance recommendationsComplete service tickets, work orders, and inspection reports accurately and timelyMaintain professional conduct on customer sites and represent the company positivelyFollow OSHA, EPA, and company safety protocols at all timesMaintain clean and organized job sitesParticipate in on-call rotation as required.Qualifications3+ years of commercial HVAC/R service experienceEPA Section 608 Certification [universal preferred]Strong understanding of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systemsAbility to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systemsValid driver's license with acceptable driving recordAbility to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in confined spaces, rooftops, and varying weather conditionsJourneyman or Master HVAC license [state or local, where applicable]Experience with chillers, boilers, and/or BAS controlsElectrical troubleshooting beyond basic component replacementFactory training or OEM certificationsExperience with BuildOps, Housecall Pro, or Service Titan [a plus]What do we offerIn exchange for your expertise, Dynamic Air Solutions offers an excellent employee benefit package including:Medical / Dental / VisionPTO + Paid HolidaysReferral BonusesTechnical Training ProgramsIncentive Compensation ProgramsCompany vehicle, gas card, cell phone, and laptop/iPadAll resumes are held in confidence.
