As an Maintenance Inspector & Planning Coordinator, you’ll own the reliability, safety, and performance of the electrical and mechanical systems that power 24/7 data center operations, and support the maintenance team responsible for sustaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing critical power and cooling infrastructure by carrying out un/scheduled inspections then working with the Maintenance Planner to prepare preventative and corrective maintenance work for execution. Working hands-on in an industrial, mission-critical environment, you’ll respond to complex electrical and mechanical challenges, drive preventive maintenance strategies, and make real-time decisions that directly impact uptime and system efficiency. We believe that human progress is invaluable, but it should be done in the right way – responsibly, sustainably and having a positive impact on the communities we operate in. Job Requirements3–5+ years of experience in maintenance planning, scheduling,inspectionor reliability roles (preferably inmission criticalenvironments such as data centers, HPC, utilities, or industrial facilities).Electrical ormechanical tradeexperience.Proficiencywith CMMS/EAM systems (e.g., Maximo,JDE,SAP,eMaint,Fiix, ServiceNow).Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.Familiarity with preventive, predictive, and reliability centered maintenance practices.Experiencedplanning, scheduling, and organizational abilities.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially related to equipment performance and failure trends.Previouselectrical and/or mechanical equipment inspection experience.Skilled in creating and reviewing detailed job plans,andwork instructions.Effective communication skills for coordinating with technicians, engineers, vendors, and leadership.Strong understanding of spare parts management, inventory control, and criticality analysis.Ability toidentifyprocess gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Aptitudeto prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.Strong attention to detail and unwavering commitment to safety.Capacityto work in an industrial environment, includinglifting upto 50lbs, working in confined spaces, and performing tasks at elevated heights.Proficiencywith MSOffice,MS Projects would be a plus.Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop, plan, and schedule preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for all critical infrastructure, including power, cooling, mechanical, and IT support systems.Create detailed work plans, including labor requirements, materials, spare parts, tools, safety procedures, and job sequencing.Coordinate with operations, engineering, and data center technicians to ensure maintenance activities are executed safely and with minimal impact to uptime.Maintainaccurateasset data, PM schedules, and work orderhistorieswithin the CMMS.Review completed work orders for accuracy, completeness, and quality of execution.Forecast and manage spare parts requirements,tools, and materials,ensuring critical components are available to support high‑availability operations.Collaborate with vendors and contractors to schedule onsite work, verify scope, and ensure compliance with site standards and security protocols.Support change management processes by preparing maintenance plans, risk assessments, and method‑of‑procedure (MOP) documentation.Analyze maintenance trends, equipment performance, and failure data to improve reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.Ensure all maintenance activities follow safety, environmental, regulatory, andinternalrequirements.Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement initiatives.Maintain clear communication with stakeholdersregardingupcoming maintenance, potential risks, and operational impacts.Assistin developing and standardizing maintenance processes, workflows, and documentation across the facility.  Other Important Requirements: Pre-employment screening, including background check and substancetestingmay be required according to company policies.Must provide own steel-toed work boots; other PPE will be supplied.Must be able to reliably commute to the work site daily or have plans torelocatebefore starting work.Must be comfortable workingon-callday and night shifts as well asweekendas needed or emergencies.Job BenefitsCompensation The expected hourly rate will be determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications.Competitive wages with robust per diem and project allowance, when applicable 15% night-shift premium for eligible roles, when applicableOvertime compensation for non-exempt workers for hours worked over 40 per weekRelocation and Living-out-allowance (as applicable and based on successful candidate circumstances)Health & Wellness 100% company paid health insurance premiums(medical, dental, and vision)for employees, 75% company paid coverage for dependentsCompany-paid short-term and long-term disability insuranceVoluntary life, critical illness, and accident coverage availableHealth Savings Accounts (HSA) – when combined with the High-Deductible Health PlanEmployee Assistance Program and wellness resourcesRetirement & Financial Wealth 401(k) retirement plan with company matchPaid professional development and access to financial planning and legal servicesTime Off & Leave Programs Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidaysGrowth & Development Professional development to support certifications, continuing education, or role related trainingCommunity & Culture Company events and team-building activitiesWe value diverse perspectives and believe that skills can be developed.
