Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and food safety standards are maintained at all times Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive experience Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS or cashiering systems such as OpenTable Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders in a fine dining or nightclub setting Maintain knowledge of menu items, wine pairings, and daily specials to assist guests effectively Skills Proven experience with restaurant serving, food service, or hospitality roles; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining guest satisfaction Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Effective communication skills for guest interactions and teamwork within the restaurant environment Experience with OpenTable reservations system or similar reservation platforms is advantageous Join our team to deliver memorable dining experiences while honing your hospitality expertise in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.
