Lights and minor electrical repairs Exhaust system repairs. Report issues to Working Leads or Shop Supervisors.Welding experience is welcomed. Location:This position is with INDOT's Plymouth Shop.Pay RateThis position traditionally starts at an hourly rate of $18.00.A Day In The LifeThe essential functions of this role are as follows:Preform, under supervision, basic maintenance and repairs on equipmentAssisting other mechanics on their jobsKeeping the shop clean and in an orderly mannerPreform oil changes and preventative maintenanceRepair and change tiresChange or repair lights on equipmentPick up parts when required by supervisorInspect vehicles/equipment for damageAttend appropriate training school, safety meetings, mechanic meetings or related meetingsProvide service and repair of vehicles and equipment on emergency basisThe job profile is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
