Maintenance TechnicianPosition OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the reliable operation of our manufacturing facility. The role focuses on preventative and corrective industrial maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems to maximize equipment uptime, ensure safety and quality, and support continuous improvement initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine preventative maintenance and inspections on production equipment, conveyors, and support systems to prevent downtime and extend equipment life.Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system failures to restore equipment to service quickly and safely.Respond to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns, prioritizing tasks to minimize production impact while following lockout/tagout and safety procedures.Install, adjust, and commission new equipment and upgrades, working with engineering and vendor technicians to ensure proper integration and documentation.Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders, parts usage, and equipment histories, and suggest spare parts inventory improvements.Fabricate and modify metal components and brackets as needed, including sheet metal repairs and small fabrication projects.Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to support continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and reliability projects.Support HVAC system maintenance and building systems repairs as required, including preventive checks and basic troubleshooting.Qualifications5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or equivalent role as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.Strong hands-on skills in mechanical troubleshooting and repair, including bearings, drives, conveyors, and pneumatics.Proficient with electrical troubleshooting, reading schematics, and performing basic wiring and control repairs.Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices, lockout/tagout, and standard safety procedures and PPE.Ability to use common tools, test equipment (multimeter, clamp meter), and small fabrication tools for sheet metal work.Nice to have: experience with sheet metal fabrication, HVAC systems, or manufacturing process support.Nice to have: formal training or experience in troubleshooting, mechanical or electrical technology, or related trade certification.Good communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and willingness to work flexible shifts or overtime as needed.Benefits Vacation/PTO Medical Dental Vision 401k Bonus Relocation Telecommute Email Your Resume In Word ToHector.Ibave@CyberCoders.comLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
