Company DescriptionWarner Foods, a company located in Encino, CA.Role DescriptionApplicants should have a strong background in PAGA, Wage and Hour, Discrimination, and DFEH/ EEOC Claims. Applicants should be self-sufficient in drafting pleadings, discovery, and substantive motions, along with offering employer litigation advice and counseling. Some travel within the greater Los Angeles area is a job requisite. Additional work may include advice and follow-up on Worker’s Compensation litigation and claims.A California Bar License is required. This position is full-time, with most of the time reporting into corporate office in Encino, CAQualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the state bar association and active license to practice law.Proven experience in litigation with a focus on Personal Injury Law or Workers Compensation Law preferred.Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.Proficient in legal research methodologies and tools such as Westlaw.Excellent written communication skills for effective legal drafting and documentation.Knowledge of Tribal Law Regulations is a plus but not required.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.DutiesRepresent clients in court and during legal negotiations.Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as Westlaw to support case strategies.Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes.Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations, particularly in Personal Injury Law, Workers Compensation Law, and Tribal Law Regulations.Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to prepare for trials and hearings.Provide guidance to clients regarding their legal rights and options.Maintain organized case files and documentation for all active cases.
