Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position based in Scarsdale, NY, for a School Bus Driver. The School Bus Driver will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from schools and school-related activities, adhering to safe driving practices and traffic regulations. Additional responsibilities include performing routine vehicle inspections, maintaining a clean and safe environment on the bus, reporting incidents or delays, and fostering a positive, respectful atmosphere for students during transit. Qualifications Possession of a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger and school bus endorsementsDemonstrated experience or ability to operate a school bus safely in various weather and traffic conditionsStrong knowledge of local traffic laws, safety regulations, and defensive driving techniquesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to maintain a positive and respectful environment for studentsDependability, punctuality, and the ability to manage schedules effectivelyPassion for student safety and willingness to assist students with special needs, if necessaryA clean driving record and the ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical examinationCPR and first aid certifications are a plusPrevious experience as a school bus driver or in a related field is preferred
