Founded by industry veterans with over 40 years of trading technology experience, the company is trusted by leading financial institutions to meet the dynamic demands of the fixed income markets.We are seeking a junior administrator to join our IT team.  This is a fully remote position.  The administrator will provision, monitor and troubleshoot MultiLynq servers and software as well as supporting the IT needs of MultiLynq employees.  The ideal candidate for this role is eager to learn new skills and technologies as the MultiLynq environment includes a breadth of technologies, including physical and cloud servers, Windows and Linux environments, multiple commercial software applications as well as MultiLynq’s core in house developed software.Job ResponsibilitiesProvisioning, monitoring and troubleshooting physical and cloud (Amazon EC2) serversCreating, updating and modifying scripts to automate and streamline IT operationsAdministration and configuration of IT operation software (antivirus, vulnerability scanning, monitoring, etc)Creating and maintaining documentation of IT operationsWorking with MultiLynq developers to support deployment and maintenance of MultiLynq’s softwareAssisting in technical support for MultiLynq employeesRequired Skill and QualificationsMinimum 2-3 years of experience in an IT systems roleExperience with Windows and Linux server administrationExperience with cloud administration (AWS preferred)Knowledge of Powershell and Bash scriptingStrong attention to detailAbility to communicate effectively and create clear documentation
