Doctor of Medicine | Podiatry - Surgery Location: Burnsville, MN Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Position Description * We are seeking an experienced Surgical Podiatrist for a locum tenens opportunity providing inpatient and outpatient coverage in Burnsville and Edina, Minnesota . This role is primarily hospital-based , focusing on consults, emergent and urgent surgical cases, post-operative rounding, and wound care management. Limited outpatient responsibilities include one post-operative clinic per week. The provider will review daily consults to determine hospital coverage location and may occasionally start the day at a specific hospital for post-operative follow-ups. This opportunity offers a weekday schedule, no weekend call , and a collaborative, well-supported clinical environment. Practice Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient EMR: Epic Assignment Length: 13–16 weeks (starting May 2026) FTE: 0.9 FTE (36 hours/week) call Schedule: Monday: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (half clinic / half hospital) Thursday: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM One weekday night call per week (Monday–Thursday) No weekend call Requirements Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in: American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery (ABFAS), or American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM) Surgical podiatry experience required Wound care experience strongly preferred BLS and ATLS certifications Active Minnesota license or IMLC eligibility Comfortable managing inpatient consults, surgeries, and post-operative care Ability to work across multiple hospital locations Benefits Benefits Competitive Compensation No weekend call Predictable weekday schedule Strong multidisciplinary support (Hospitalists, Vascular, Infectious Disease, Orthopedics, Wound Care) Well-staffed clinic and hospital teams Modern EMR (Epic)
