Overview
Seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Professional to manage payroll processing for a multi-state workforce, including union and non-union employees. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely payroll execution while partnering with HR and Finance.
Responsibilities
Process weekly and biweekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees
Review timekeeping data, resolve discrepancies, and ensure approvals
Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions
Ensure compliance with payroll laws, taxes, and garnishments
Maintain accurate, confidential payroll records
Support year-end reporting (W-2s, 1099s)
Respond to employee payroll inquiries
Assist with reporting, audits, and process improvements
Qualifications
2+ years of payroll experience (multi-state; union a plus)
Experience with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paycom)
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas)
High attention to detail and confidentiality
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
