SummaryManages the branch inside sales team by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesInclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.Lead inside sales personnel to achieve branch sales objectives.Act as central point of contact regarding branch sales issues.Interface with other internal departments such as Marketing, Asset, Product, Field Sales, and Human Resources.Attend Branch, Supplier and Customer meetings as appropriate.Stay up to date on new procedures, policies, and system features.Monitor and balance individual Inside Sales personnel workloads.Provide direction and adequate resources for customer support and superior customer service.Establish on-going nurturing relationships with Outside Sales, suppliers and customers.Regular engagement with individuals in the marketplace to establish a network of potential future employees.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesDirectly supervises branch inside sales team.Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.CompetenciesProblem Solving – Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; A.) from four-year college or university; or four+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Computer SkillsProficiency in the following applications: Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
