A possible relocation will be supported if certain criteria are met. As a Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist, you will lead the EHS department at the respective Lab/R&D locations. You will work closely with the local management and report directly to the AR EHS Global Lab Safety Manager.Key job responsibilitiesOwning EHS compliance for a robotics research and development labConducting risk assessments and influencing implementation of risk reduction measuresAdvising employees and management on the subject of occupational health and safety and environmental regulationsAdvising and influencing designs around machinery safety requirements and standardsFamiliarity and compliance with ISO 13849Implementing legal and Amazon internal requirements in occupational health safety and environmental regulationsWorking with various support functions (HR, Engineering, Facilities)Ensuring compliance with Massachusetts Occupational Safety and Health laws and guidelines as well as company guidelines and completing the necessary formalities to comply with themEvaluating accidents and statistics and developing prevention programs to avoid accidentsCreating a safe work culture and promoting commitment to occupational health and safety measures of management and teamsClose cooperation with the local fire brigade, the occupational health and safety authorities and any professional associations and maintaining these relationshipsA day in the lifeAmazon offers a full range of benefits that support you and eligible family members, including domestic partners. We remove barriers, drive organizational productivity, and foster growth. We serve AR leadership, product customers, and employees, and collaborate with teams throughout FTR. Creating a safe, inclusive, and productive workplace experience. Designing and iterating on learning, development, and engagement solutions to support needs of operators and employees. Synthesizing and articulating AR's long-term strategy, near-term goals, product roadmaps, and workforce strategy. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
