Test Technician- Mount Prospect, ILJob DescriptionThis Test Technician role focuses on hands-on prototype assembly for high-voltage battery management system components. The primary focus is lab-based assembly work, building small electromechanical components, and supporting engineering and testing teams with prototype builds. This position requires a mechanically inclined individual who is comfortable working with small parts and able to follow process flows and basic testing steps. While testing is not part of the daily responsibilities, experience with oscilloscopes or basic test equipment for occasional troubleshooting or engineering requests is beneficial. Dexterity, attention to detail, and comfort working around high-voltage components are essential.ResponsibilitiesPerform hands-on prototype assembly for high-voltage battery management system components.Work primarily in the lab environment assembling small electromechanical parts.Collaborate cross-functionally with the engineering team and testing group.Follow established process flows, build instructions, and basic testing steps.Handle small components requiring strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.Use oscilloscopes or basic test equipment as needed for troubleshooting.Support engineers with prototype iterations, adjustments, and documentation.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe lab environment.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Prospect, IL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
