Landscape Crew Leader
Description
Primary Role: To provide our customers with a great construction experience by professionally leading a crew of two or more individuals to complete project areas assigned. Your day to day will include installing softscapes (planting, mulching, etc.), and hardscapes (patios, retaining walls, fire features, outdoor kitchens). Additional tasks included managing project time, equipment coordination, material coordination, and assisting with subcontractor coordination and scheduling.
Secondary Role: Assist as needed with other tasks when needed in different sections of the business including areas of swimming pool plumbing & automation, pool tile and finishes, and construction of other outdoor living elements.
Requirements
Willingness to learn, retain, and share knowledge.
General Understanding of plants and landscaping practices.
Proficiency in hardscape installation.
Eagerness to develop a positive work environment and culture.
Effective communication, flexibility, goal-setting, and accountability.
Punctuality, preparedness, and a positive attitude.
Good physical condition: ability to lift 50-80 pounds, kneel, bend.
Ability to read and understand construction drawings and job plans.
Record and submit daily times and categories for billing.
Manage after-project punch list items.
Proficiency with tape measure (down to 1/16”), laser transit, and string lines.
Knowledge of various power tools.
Proficiency in operating truck and trailers. CDL a plus.
Proper maintenance of tools and equipment.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Proficiency with skid loader operation.
Preferred: Experience with excavators and other equipment.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Experience
· Landscape Construction: 2 + years
License/Certification
· Driver’s License (Required), CDL would be a plus!
· Education in the green/landscape industry a plus!
