Component Engineer

· Evaluate substitute components for FORM, FIT and FUNCTION · Be familiar with electrical and electro-mechanical components · Enter components in Engineering Database and ERP system · Include with entry datasheets and RoHS statements for the component · Discuss changes with the Cognizant Engineers · Assist in the preparation of ECO release packages · Specify, conduct, and direct others to conduct and document tests on electronic items ranging from individual components to moderately complex subsystems, given detailed performance criteria and general supervision from a Cognizant Engineer · Communicate well orally and in writing with others with whom he/she works within the Engineering and Operations departments · Other tasks and projects assigned by the position’s supervisor, superior and company management #J-18808-Ljbffr
