Cloud Engineer - TS/SCI with Polygraph

You will play a crucial role in securing our nation's secured infrastructure by working closely with the customer to have a great impact on the mission.What you'll need to succeed bring your technology expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The ideal cloud engineer candidate will have:Education: Bachelor of arts/Bachelor of science, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experienceExperience: 5+ years of cloud engineering experienceTechnical skills and abilities:Cloud platforms:AWS experience with services like WC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFormation, IAM, Cognito, etc.Azure experience is a plus, including Azure VM's, Blob Storage, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Active Directory, etc.Kubernetes:Experience with Kubernetes (CKAD or CKA certification is a plus)Understanding of Kubernetes architecture, components, and ecosystem (e.g., Helm, kube-state metrics)Experience with Kubernetes deployment strategies (e.g., rolling updates, blue-green deployments)Programming skills:Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, and Type scriptExperience with scripting languages like Bash, PowerShell, or PerlContainerization:Experience with Docker, including creating Docker files, managing images, and orchestrating containersNetworking and security:Understanding of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing)Experience with security best practices and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, FIPS)Familiarity with AWS-native encryption (KMS)Familiarity with security tools like AWS IAM, Azure Active Directory, or Kubernetes RBACMonitoring and logging:Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatchFamiliarity with logging tools like ELK stack, Fluentd, or cloud loggingCI/CD and automation:Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCIFamiliarity with automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormationOther:Technical liaison and integration support with In-Q-Tel and external vendorsFamiliarity with the customer's assessment & authorization (A&A) processSecurity clearance level: TS/SCI w/PolygraphLocation: Herndon, VA - customer siteUS citizenship required: YesGDIT is your place.
