Cell Test Engineer, Reliability Testing

What To ExpectOur team test and qualify Tesla’s large-format in-house cells for electrochemical performance and product reliability. We work with Cell Manufacturing team and other cross functional teams to deepen our understanding of our battery cells and to improve product performance. We develop cycle life test plans to evaluate battery performance over time and monitor capacity fade and impedance growth, set up new fixtures and execute the plan that enables battery cell performance.What You'll DoWe are looking for a highly motivated and passionate professionals to work on disruptive cutting-edge battery electrode technology that enables Tesla electric vehicles and energy storage systems to be more efficient and reliable Be the Reliability testing owner of the team, tying mechanical-based testing with electrochemical tests.
