Maintenance Technician

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Empty trash and recycling receptacles including disposal in appropriate dumpsters, bale cardboard, and place in the dumpster. Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues. Check electrical and hydraulic systems of buildings to ensure functionality. Maintain maintenance logs and reports on daily activities. Ensure health and safety policies are followed. Support company policies and procedures, goals and objectives, and good manufacturing practices. Minimum Qualifications: High school Diploma or GED required. 2-year technical or related degree preferred and or 4 plus years of manufacturing experience required. 2 plus years of prior maintenance experience required. Must be able to operate a forklift. Demonstrated problem-solving skills. A strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on skills in an industrial environment. Knowledge of manufacturing and machine concepts. Ability to grasp current technology quickly. Ability to prioritize multiple projects. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
