Requisition Payroll Partner I

Payroll SpecialistPrepares, documents and disburses payroll checks, payroll taxes and employee benefit payments. Monitors and ensures proper documentation of employee benefit payments. Prepares reports illustrating payroll expenditures, including such items as tax payments and benefit plan disbursements. Processes payroll reconciliation and finance chargeback files. Works with compliance and audit teams for various internal and external requests.Major Position ResponsibilitiesAssists with duties and tasks associated with payroll.Uses payroll software, inputs payroll data, and prepares payroll checks.Processes irregular payments such as bonuses.Answers employee questions related to payroll and resolves issues.May maintain vacation and personal time records.Helps to ensure payroll practices meet government compliance.Position-Specific ResponsibilitiesRuns home office and Legacy ATP payroll- ensuring everyone is paid correctly and troubleshoots issues ranging from short term disability to new hires to PTO payouts.Runs and manages monthly HR reports.Navigates and troubleshoots Infor timekeeping system.Impact of the RolePerforms manual tasks according to established proceduresAcquires basic skills to perform routine tasksWork is prescribed and completed with little autonomyWorks with either close supervision or under clearly defined proceduresEntry level to a business support career progressionBasic QualificationsRequired Education and Experience: High School Diploma/GED and 0-3 years experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or ExperienceKnowledge, Skills & Abilities: Oral and Written Communication Skills. Detail Oriented. Ability to Meet Deadlines. Data Entry-Keyboarding. Data QA. Direct Deposit Administration. Inquiry Research/Response. Paid Time Off Tracking. Paycheck Distribution.
