With 200 offices across North America, we combine the personalized service model of a local consultant with the global resources of the world's leading professional services firm, Marsh (NYSE: MRSH).Applicants must be within driving distance to our Oxford, MS office to be considered for this role and have the ability to commute to the office a minimum of three days per week.A day in the life.As a Business Insurance Client Manager, you will:Intermediate to advanced usage of Agency Management SystemMay depend on Client Team / Producer for rate/coverage negotiations. Organizes responses and presents them to Client Team / Producer for review.Proactively involved with Client Team on strategy and client deliverables & meeting client expectations (including proposals, stewardship, meetings, special projects etc.).Maintains Client relationships independently or in concurrence with Client Team.Prepares or reviews materials for discussion with Client Team / ProducerSteps in to support account team members on any/all functions as neededAssists other Client Managers during high volume times as neededExecutes on the deliverables as communicated by the Client TeamPrepares Client presentations to include developing meeting agendas, preparing presentation documents (printing / binding)Attend and actively participate in client meetings when requested by the Producer/Client Executive.Mentorship of Account Associates and Senior Account Associates, as neededIntermediate understanding of available tools (Reference Connect, Playbook, MMA U)Provides New Business and Renewal Support based on the following tasks:Compiles Broker of Record LettersParticipates in internal Renewal Strategy MeetingsTransmits Renewal Request to Client via email or IndioGathers Renewal Information from ClientPerforms Exposure AnalysisSends Submissions to Market or Rates OnlinePerforms Non-Admitted Carrier Due Diligence in accordance with state rulesPerforms Premium, Rate and Coverage ComparisonsGenerates / Updates Fee AgreementFinalizes Proposal upon receipt from Vendor and presents to clientSend Bind Order to CarrierReceives Binder from Carrier and transmits MMA Binder to ClientPerforms Renewal Premium AllocationProvides General Service Support based on the following tasks:Orders Endorsements / Coverage Changes to CarrierPerforms Audit Reviews and addresses discrepanciesProvides basic Contract ReviewObtain required signatures for supplemental applications, fee agreements, Acords or any applicable documentationOur future colleague.We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:3-5 years prior experienceAssociates / Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Work Experience RequiredAdvanced Degree (RMIN, Finance, Accounting) experience a plusAdvanced Designation (AAI, CISR, CIC, CRM, ARM, CPCU) in progressTask leadership, Ability to prioritize and organize daily tasks as well as general account management.Developing proficiency in managing a book of business through annual life cycle to include new business, customer service, renewal strategy, delegating to Team MembersHandles smaller, less complex accountsManages a book of business under guidance of Client Team and Sales CollaborationAdvanced application of prioritization & organizational skills.Intermediate application of prioritization & organizational skillsProficient Project ManagementBroadening carrier relationships with marketing and underwritingContinued development of products/line knowledge and marketing techniques.Up to date with current trends, regulations, etc.Intermediate application of tools & resourcesIntermediate application in Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint) and advanced proficiency in ExcelExemplifies MMA Core Values: Collaboration, Passion, Innovation, AccountabilityProperty Casualty License RequiredAnnual CE RequirementWe know there are excellent candidates who might not check all of these boxes. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
