Summer Student CTE Computer Support Tech Intern - District Support

Reports to: Technology Services ManagerSalary: Position hourly rate at District Support Min Wage ($17.13)Dates: July 7 - August 14 (Monday-Friday)Hours: 5 hours per day, 5 days a week. Hours 9:00am - 2:45pmPosition Summary: The Summer Student CTE (Career & Technical Education) Computer Support Tech Intern will assist the technology department staff primarily in CTE summer technology projects as well as assist in general IT work. Students will work alongside a Senior Tech to ensure technology is ready for the upcoming school year. This work will include but is not limited to:Tear down and set up of equipmentInventory management of devicesCord and accessory managementComputer repairWork at the Service Center or on location at District School sitesQualifications:16-18 years oldCurrent or graduating Marysville School District studentDates: July 7th - August 14th (Mon-Fri) 5 hours per day, 5 days a week.Hours 9:00am- 2:45pmReliable transport to Service Center or assigned school siteValid Washington State driver's license and provide own vehicleInterest in exploring a career in Technology Repair, Service and/or MaintenanceDesired Skills:Collaborative thinker and problem solver with a growth mindsetActive listenerDemonstrated comfort with technology troubleshooting.Willingness to grow in your learning of technologyCultural Responsiveness.
