Strategic Marketing Director

Strategic Marketing Director (Level I or II)Children’s Miracle Network is hiring for both a Strategic Marketing Director I and Strategic Marketing Director II. Both roles serve as strategic marketing partners supporting corporate partnerships, programs, and fundraising initiatives through integrated, insight-driven marketing campaigns. The level will be determined based on experience, strategic leadership background, and demonstrated marketing expertise.What You’ll Do Core DutiesStrategic Intake and Account Partnership: Serve as the primary marketing intake partner for assigned account managers across Corporate Partnerships, Programs, Foundation Partners, and Business Development. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business goals, customer needs, timing, and success measures.Strategic Marketing Planning: Collaboratively develop integrated marketing strategies and action plans that engage partner employees, customers, and participants while supporting fundraising and brand objectives. Bring fresh thinking, strong judgment, and customer insight to campaign planning and recommendations.Full-Funnel Campaign Development: Develop and guide marketing plans that support the full customer journey, including awareness, engagement, conversion, donation, and retention strategies tailored to audience needs and channel opportunities.Cross-Functional Campaign Coordination: Coordinate closely with account owners, Creative Services, marketing, and enterprise partners to keep projects aligned, moving forward efficiently, and responsive to changing business needs. Manage multiple workstreams while maintaining clarity and focus on results.Creative Briefing and Partnership: Partner with Creative Services and internal stakeholders to translate strategy into clear briefs, priorities, messaging, and deliverables that align with CMN brand standards and campaign objectives.Customer Experience Mapping: Leverage customer journey mapping, feedback, and audience insights to improve campaign effectiveness and create seamless, meaningful experiences for external partners and internal teams.Campaign Performance and Optimization: Review campaign results, customer feedback, and available data to assess effectiveness and identify opportunities to strengthen engagement, fundraising outcomes, and overall marketing performance.Brand Stewardship: Ensure marketing strategies, messaging, and campaign recommendations align with CMN brand standards, audience expectations, and organizational priorities.Additional DutiesInnovation and Continuous Improvement: Identify new ideas, tools, and approaches that improve campaign effectiveness, simplify processes, and create stronger partner experiences.Vendor and Partner Coordination: Support work with external vendors, agencies, or media partners as needed to advance campaign planning and execution.Industry and Market Awareness: Stay informed on marketing, partnership, fundraising, and audience trends that may impact organizational strategy and future opportunities.Training and Enablement Support: Contribute to tools, templates, resources, and shared best practices that help internal teams engage effectively in the marketing planning and execution process.Event and Partner Support: Attend and support partner meetings, planning sessions, and organizational events as needed.What Differentiates the Levels Strategic Marketing Director IThe Director I role is focused on executing and managing strategic marketing initiatives within assigned portfolios while building deeper expertise in campaign strategy, partner marketing, and fundraising engagement.Typical Profile & Requirements5+ years of relevant marketing experienceExperience managing integrated campaigns and cross-functional projectsStrong collaborator with the ability to balance multiple prioritiesComfortable developing strategic recommendations with support and partnership from leadershipTypically manages moderately complex portfolios and campaignsStrategic Marketing Director IIThe Director II role operates with a higher level of strategic ownership, autonomy, and influence across the organization. This expanded range reflects consideration for candidates at either the Strategic Marketing Director I or Strategic Marketing Director II level.Typical Hiring Ranges By Level AreStrategic Marketing Director I: $72,000–$81,000Strategic Marketing Director II: $83,600–$94,050Final level and compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated strategic marketing expertise. Please note that we are unable to offer compensation outside of the posted hiring ranges for either level.Job Location: This role is eligible to be a remote position but employment is only available to individuals living in the following states: AL, AZ, AR, CO, DE, DC, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MA, MI, MN, MO, NJ, NM, NC, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WV, WI, WY.
