At Filter Resources, an MCE Company, we’re hiring an Outside Sales Representative to help us grow even further!An Outside Sales Representative is responsible for establishing contact with existing customers, identifying new opportunities, and following up on potential leads. They will monitor industry trends in order to identify emerging markets and develop plans to utilize those markets to expand revenue.Essential DutiesAchieves sales goals by retaining existing customers and developing new businessProvides strategic recommendations, pricing, and customized solutions for products and services to meet individual customer needsPrepares product and service quotations and proposes to potential customersNegotiates terms, and closes transactionsInitiates sales calls, with customers in industrial applications of all kinds, and delivers presentations highlighting features and benefits of recommended solutionsDevelops and maintains successful long-term customer relationshipsOversees delivery, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of systems Works with OEMs, engineering, and technical staff to clarify customer needs and develop specificationsResearch local markets to identify sales opportunities and competitorsBuilds rapport with customer base and develops an understanding of customers’ core business profit driversRecords account, contract, and sales activities in the CRM on a daily basisPerforms other related duties and progress reporting as assignedQualificationsREQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIESResults-oriented sales professional with a minimum of 3 - 5 years sales experienceBackground in industrial sales is a plusProven ability to develop and implement strategies to enhance market shareWorking knowledge of assembly, fabrication, power units, lubrication systems, and electrical controlsExperience reading building blueprints, mechanical drawings, and electrical diagrams is a plusExcellent communication skills with a strength in customer presentationsAbility to work independently and within a teamStrong work ethic and desire to meet customer needsAssociate degree in business, sales, or marketing is a plusWorking knowledge of Excel and Office 365 required, Dynamics or other CRM platforms is a plus Proven mechanical aptitude with strong attention to detailValid driver’s license requiredMinimum of high school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.BenefitsAlong with competitive compensation and career advancement opportunities, we offer a comprehensive total rewards package.
