Data Engineer / Data Scientist (Snowflake/Python)Insight Global is seeking a Data Engineer / Data Scientist for a top telecommunications client supporting a large-scale merger integration initiative. This resource will play a key role in onboarding and validating new data sources, building scalable ETL processes, and ensuring data quality across enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in Python, SQL, and Snowflake, along with experience analyzing and transforming large volumes of data. This position offers the opportunity to work on a high-visibility integration effort while partnering closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and leadership to deliver actionable insights and reliable data solutions.Day-to-Day:Aggregate and integrate new data sources into existing platformsDevelop and maintain Python-based ETL processesCreate and optimize SQL queries within SnowflakeValidate incoming data and ensure data integrity across systemsBuild automation scripts to support data quality and reconciliation effortsAnalyze large data sets to identify trends, issues, and opportunitiesPartner with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirementsSupport data migration and merger integration initiativesParticipate in sprint planning, standups, and other Agile ceremoniesDocument data flows, transformation logic, and validation processes
