Join our team at Exton Post Acute as a Medical Records/Central Supply. Proudly supported by Marquis Health Consulting Services Full-time opportunity available Monday-Friday 8 AM-4 PM $18-$30 an hour Responsibilities as Medical Records/Central Supply: Manage patient health information by ensuring patient records remain accurate, complete, current, confidential, and are compliant with federal and state regulations, HIPAA Creates medical record for all new admissions Maintains accurate order of open records, paper and electronic Performs routine audits of medical records upon admission, throughout the stay, and discharge to monitor compliance with policies regarding documentation, physician visits, timeliness, etc. Maintains EMR uploading of documents Processes medical record requests Maintains closed records in accordance with Company policies and procedure Responds to telephone inquiries concerning medical records and may respond to correspondence, as directed by center management Performs other duties as requested Qualifications of Medical Records/Central Supply: 1 + years of related experience required, preferably in a skilled nursing facility High School Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred Must be able to handle all the physically demanding aspects of being a Central Supply Coordinator in a skilled nursing facility Ability to provide great customer service to patients and employees Managerial experience preferred Must have strong organizational skills Benefits for Medical Records/Central Supply: Tuition reimbursement Employee referral bonus Health, vision, and dental benefits 401(k) with match Employee engagement and culture committee Company sponsored life insurance Employee assistance program (EAP) resources Join our team at Exton Post Acute and Healthcare Center, a 120-bed Sub-Acute, and Long-Term Care facility where compassion and quality care are at the heart of everything we do.
