Rapid Prototyping and Engineering is growing and currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Machinist to join our team in Franklin, IN. If you are passionate about precision machining, CAM programming, and solving complex challenges, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
Use CAM software to program, set up, and run low-volume, tight-tolerance prototype parts.
Perform quality checks using precision measurement tools during the machining process.
Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
Maintain detailed records of machining operations and outcomes.
Preferred Qualification:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; technical certification is a plus.
7-10 years of experience in complex CNC lathe machining.
7+ years of programming with GibbsCAM or comparable software.
Strong mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and other machining equipment effectively.
Candidates must also achieve a sufficient score on an in-house technical evaluation as part of the hiring process.
