Java Full Stack Developer

*Position Overview* We are seeking a *Java Full Stack Developer* with experience supporting *clinical trials, clinical research, and project management applications*. The developer will enhance and maintain NIH applications used for clinical research, project tracking, reporting, and data visualization. Responsibilities * Develop and maintain full-stack applications using *Java, Spring Boot, React, and SQL Server*. * Build REST APIs, backend services, and responsive web interfaces. * Enhance clinical research applications with *project management capabilities*, including milestones, tasks, deliverables, and status reporting. * Develop dashboards and reports using *Power BI*. * Work with NIH stakeholders to translate clinical and business requirements into technical solutions. * Participate in design, development, testing, deployment, and Agile activities. * Troubleshoot application and database issues and maintain technical documentation. Qualifications * *Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.* * *3–5 years of full-stack development experience.* * Strong experience with *Java, Spring Boot, React, REST APIs, and relational databases*. * Experience with *SQL Server* preferred. * Experience or familiarity with *clinical trials, clinical research systems, or biomedical research*. * Understanding of *project management concepts*, including schedules, milestones, deliverables, risks, and reporting. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. *Preferred:* Experience with NIH/HHS, Power BI, clinical trial management systems, Agile development, and federal government environments. This is a *hybrid position supporting NIH in Rockville, Maryland*.
