This commitment to service and community enhancement is what we call \"The Level Up Way\".Together, Level Up and AVIAN offer comprehensive solutions, blending technology and community engagement to create an exceptional partnership for our employees, customers, and community.ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be dedicated full-time to development and enhancement support for existing applications as well as new development.QualificationsDuties, Tasks and ResponsibilitiesDesigning, programming/developing, and modifying software systems, applications, and tools, both existing and potentially new in the futureAnalyzing user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraintsCollaborating with teammates, other service providers, vendors, and users to develop new program featuresDeveloping unit and integration tests, in addition to participating in functional and regression tests to ensure programs will produce the desired results and that instructions are correctCorrecting errors by making the appropriate changes and then re-checking the program to ensure the desired result was producedParticipating in code reviews by reviewing and incorporating feedback from teammates as well as providing feedback to others based on existing standards and recommended programming practicesDeploying code to development, test, and production environments using existing DevOps infrastructure/toolsReviewing help desk messages periodically and working with other teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issuesOrganizing and maintaining documentation of application development and subsequent revisions, so others are able to understand the programRequired Experience, Skills, & TechnologiesStrong Java programming/development skills, with hands-on experienceExperience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern front-end framework, preferably AngularExperience with, or knowledge of, the Spring Framework and RESTful servicesExperience with, or knowledge of, SQL and ORM libraries such as Hibernate/JPAExperience with Git branching and merging within a team to manage source codeStrong ability to manage competing priorities and communication to multiple stakeholdersDesired Experience, Skills & TechnologiesExperience with, or knowledge of, ElasticsearchExperience with, or knowledge of, best practices for developing secure web applicationsClearance RequiredDue to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is requiredTS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph requiredAt Level Up, LLC, we offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, financial security, and overall well-being.
