Goode Company Fry CookJOB DESCRIPTIONWe are seeking outgoing individuals who have a passion for the art of cooking. This employee will have excellent time management, cleanliness and organizational skills to ensure all food items meet Goode Company standards.RESPONSIBILITIESFollow food safety and handling procedures, such as product rotation, dating and labeling all food itemsPrepare fryers and prep items in a timely matterBecome an expert on timing because fried foods must go out immediatelyMaintaining fresh oil and disposing of used oilCook all food items according to the specified cook times to ensure they are safe for customer consumptionFollow proper knife handling proceduresEnsure the quality of the food items and notify the manager if a product does not meet Goode Company standardsPrepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping and storingWash and disinfect kitchen area including tables, tools, knives and equipment to ensure sanitary conditions are metAssist cooks and kitchen staff to prepare food and provide them with needed itemsQUALIFICATIONSPunctual and reliable attendance2 plus years of kitchen experience in a high volume establishmentMust be 18 years of ageBe able to work in a standing and moving position for long periods of timeEffective time management skillsAble to work in with heated equipmentAbility to follow instructions and proceduresFood Handler CertificationWHERE WE MEET: You take joy in what you do, and we take pride in finding folks like you.
