This role plays a critical part in improving efficiency, balancing workloads, supporting production readiness, and driving continuous improvement through data-driven analysis and cross-functional collaboration.ResponsibilitiesProcess Analysis and ImprovementConduct detailed time and motion studies to establish labor standards, identify inefficiencies, and improve productivityAnalyze work elements, material flow, and workstation layouts to optimize manufacturing processesDevelop, validate, and maintain standard work documentationSupport line balancing and capacity analysis efforts for existing and new production linesIdentify opportunities for waste reduction using Lean principlesProduction and Project SupportSupport production readiness and ramp-up activities, including new product introductions (NPI) and model changesCollaborate with operations, manufacturing engineering, quality, and safety teams to implement process improvementsAssist with risk identification and mitigation strategies related to labor, ergonomics, and throughputSupport continuous improvement events and kaizen activitiesData Analysis and ReportingCollect and analyze production, labor, and efficiency dataTrack process improvement savings and report performance metrics and variancesPrepare documentation and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholdersAdministrative and CollaborationParticipate in estimating and cost analysis related to labor and manufacturing efficiencyCommunicate effectively with multiple project managers and operations leadersContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and professional development activitiesRequirementsEducationBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline preferredExperience3+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing engineering roleDemonstrated experience performing time and motion studies and developing labor standardsExperience working in high-volume manufacturing environmentsFamiliarity with new product introduction (NPI) and production ramp-up processesExperience supporting or working during manufacturing plant shutdowns is a plusSkillsStrong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, work measurement techniques, and continuous improvement methodologiesUnderstanding of Six Sigma tools and data-driven problem-solvingKnowledge of general manufacturing safety requirements (including lock-out/tag-out, ergonomics, and standard work practices)Ability to troubleshoot production and process issues in fast-paced environmentsProficiency with data analysis tools such as Excel and manufacturing data systemsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage cross-functional teamsBenefitsFrom internships to seasoned professionals, our growing company provides career opportunities for all levels of experience.
