Adjunct Assistant ProfessorWith a footprint in over 90 countries and a dedication to quality, accessible education, Westcliff University is seeking Adjunct Assistant Professors to teach undergraduate, masters, and doctoral courses for the College of Business.The courses are delivered on campus at either our Irvine or Cerritos campuses. Only candidates that are able to teach on campus will be considered.Under the direction of the College of Business Dean and Associate Dean of the undergraduate, masters and doctoral programs, you will engage in the following:Reviewing and managing your syllabus and corresponding materialsFacilitating class instruction utilizing your experience and passion for your fieldTeaching your assigned classes in accordance with Westcliff University's learning objectives and session plan outlinesAdministering evaluations of student performance based on course deliverables and rubricsPosting course grades on the university's Learning Management System (LMS)Responding promptly to grade determination and providing detailed timely feedbackSubmitting grades for assignments, discussion boards, exercises, exams, and activities promptlyParticipating in Faculty Senate, programmatic development, and committee workAdhering to Westcliff University protocolsOther duties as assignedRequirementsDoctoral degree from a regionally, nationally, or internationally accredited institution in or closely related to your fieldWill consider doctorate degrees in progress, provided the candidate has at least 15 credits in the area of specialization in which they wish to teachExperience teaching online, on-campus, or in hybrid formatFive years experience teaching at the university level in your disciplineDemonstrated commitment to teaching students from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.Education:Doctoral degree from a regionally, nationally, or internationally accredited institution or equivalentWestcliff University is an Equal Opportunity EmployerSalary Description $35 to $40/hr
