SUMMER / FALL INTERNThe Scout Guide Southlake & Grapevine is hiring an intern who will perform a variety of tasks in order to assist the TSG Owner/Editor/Associate Editor throughout the stages of producing the annual guide.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:LAUNCH PARTY & DISTRIBUTION:● Assist with the distribution of annual guides including fulfilling client and city-wide requests through personal delivery.● Identify places and events to distribute TSG that align with the target market, and manage physical distribution.● Assist Owner/Editor with execution of launch party and four to five other events throughout the year.MARKETING/PROMOTION:● Assist Owner/Editor with Digital Engagement to create digital content including social media posts & videos, website content, and more.● Perform social media engagement with local businesses for the purposes of networking, connections, and business development.BUSINESS OPERATIONS:● Assist in strategic planning.Qualifications:● High School Diploma or higher● Superior copywriting skills● Ability to work nights and/or weekends, as needed, for promotional events● Experience with social media platforms● Knowledge of SEO and its role in content marketing● Graphic design skills are a plus● Must be able to lift large objects weighing 20 lbs or more*** This Internship is located primarily in Southlake and surrounding cities. Ties to the community are not required but recommend. Must live within DFW.
