This role is focused exclusively on ambulatory care, offering a predictable schedule with no inpatient responsibilities. The position provides an excellent opportunity for both experienced physicians and new graduates looking to build a long-term outpatient neurology practice in a supportive and growing medical community. Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a broad range of neurological conditions, including:Headaches and migrainesEpilepsy and seizure disordersStroke follow-up careMovement disordersPeripheral neuropathyMultiple sclerosisCognitive and memory disordersPerform comprehensive neurological examinations and develop individualized treatment plansInterpret diagnostic studies such as EEGs, EMGs, MRIs, and CT scans, as applicableCollaborate with primary care providers and specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient careMaintain timely and accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR)Educate and counsel patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and disease managementAdhere to established clinical guidelines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical schoolCompletion of an accredited Neurology residency programBoard Certified or Board Eligible in NeurologyActive or eligible medical license in the state of AlabamaDEA registration or eligibilityStrong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills Additional Requirements Must maintain appropriate state licensure and certifications
