Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Custodian, located at Mooresville, NC. The Custodian will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of school facilities. Day-to-day tasks include cleaning classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and other common areas, as well as performing light maintenance duties such as changing light bulbs or addressing minor repairs. The Custodian will also assist in maintaining an orderly and welcoming environment for staff, students, and visitors by following safety and cleanliness protocols. Qualifications Proficiency in cleaning procedures, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and waste disposalAbility to perform light maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and equipment upkeepFamiliarity with safety protocols and ability to follow health and safety regulations within building facilitiesStrong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectivelyDependability, punctuality, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a teamHigh school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in custodial work or maintenance is a plusPhysical ability to lift and move moderate weights, operate cleaning equipment, and perform repetitive tasksA commitment to contributing to a clean, safe, and welcoming school environment
