The team brings deep experience across project development, structured finance, and operations to support first-class management teams through periods of growth and transformation.The platform manages hundreds of millions of dollars across several funds and strategies, boasting a successful investment track record across a broad range of renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure technologies to date. Areas of focus have included include solar power, battery storage, hydroelectric generation, energy efficiency, electrified transport, and sustainable fuels.Job Summary:The fund is seeking a Vice President to join the investment team in New York City. The role offers exposure to all facets of the investment process, including sourcing, structuring, due diligence, financial analysis, and legal documentation.The Vice President will play a senior role within the investment team, leading the execution of new investments from screening through closing and supporting portfolio companies through value creation and exit. The position includes meaningful origination responsibility, direct interaction with management teams and the investment committee, and oversight of junior investment professionals.This is an opportunity to join a growing investment platform with significant momentum in the energy transition and sustainable infrastructure sectors.Key Responsibilities:Lead due diligence workstreams across commercial, financial, technical, legal, and tax topics, including management of external advisorsStructure and negotiate transactions, including term sheets and definitive documentationBuild, review, and pressure-test complex financial models and underwriting analysesPrepare investment memoranda and present opportunities to senior leadership and the investment committeeServe as a key relationship lead for portfolio companies, including performance monitoring and strategic engagement with management teamsSupport value creation initiatives, capital markets activities, and operational improvement programsLead acquisition, merger, and exit processes at both the asset and corporate levelsSupport fundraising and investor relations activities, including preparation of materials and participation in LP diligence sessionsMentor and manage junior investment professionalsMaintain valuation models and support quarterly portfolio reportingCoordinate with external counsel, lenders, fund administrators, and other counterpartiesQualifications:Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier accredited university5-7 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, infrastructure investing, renewable energy development, and/or project financeStrong experience within real assets, infrastructure, power, or renewable energyDemonstrated transaction experience across origination, structuring, diligence, negotiation, execution, and portfolio managementExperience managing junior team members and external advisorsAdvanced Excel and financial modeling capabilitiesStrong understanding of legal and commercial documentationExcellent analytical, communication, and presentation skillsIntellectual curiosity, entrepreneurial mindset, and passion for the energy transitionAbility to operate effectively in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environmentCompensation:Highly competitive salary + bonus packageMeaningful carry pool participationComprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) plan with company match.Opportunities for career advancement within a best in class investment platform.How to apply:Apply below, or speak to the partner leading this search tom.perkin@talismanap.com
