Mechanical Technician

Top skills:• Experience with high-speed cable manufacturing equipment is a plus but not required (jacketing, ribbon stranding, buffering)• Experience with mechanical equipment design, install, start-up and debug in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Candidate must have 5+ years demonstrated leadership experience with coordinating scheduling, workflows, etc..• Managing mechanical and electrical trades (both internal and external) executing equipment install and debug.• Skilled with use of design software (AutoCAD, Solidworks, Inventor)Scope of Position:• A mechanical engineer responsible for leading and providing hands-on mechanical support for the installation, start-up and debug of high-cable manufacturing process equipment.
