Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Athens, GA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,843 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Start Date: 6/1/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year; first timers are accepted License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Med/Surg experience, Non-invasive airway management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Total joint replacement experience, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams Description: The registered nurse will work in a medical surgical overflow setting. Patient population ranges from adolescents to geriatrics. The unit is equipped to handle total hip, knee, and shoulder arthroplasties, as well as trauma patients. The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 1:5-6 on a 27 bed unit with an average daily census of 24. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation. Compliance in onboarding and completion of core items/labs is required to start on time. Holidays are expected to be worked as specified in the holiday policy. Floating within the healthcare facility is required. Weekends are typically required every other weekend unless specified otherwise.
