Senior Oracle Developer
We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Developer to design, develop, and optimize Oracle-based solutions supporting federal client applications and mission-critical data workflows.In this role, you will build and maintain complex database structures, data models, ETL pipelines, and Oracle APEX applications while ensuring high standards of data integrity, security, reliability, and performance. You will collaborate with architects, business analysts, and development teams to translate business and technical requirements into scalable solutions.This position offers the opportunity to work in a multi-cloud environment—including AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure—while helping modernize systems through cloud-native technologies, fully automated CI/CD pipelines, and company-sponsored agentic AI development initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain Oracle database schemas, data models, stored procedures, packages, functions, and triggers.Develop, enhance, and support applications using Oracle APEX.Build and optimize ETL processes and high-performance data pipelines.Write, review, and tune complex PL/SQL code and SQL queries.Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.Ensure database solutions meet security, performance, availability, and data-quality requirements.Translate business and system requirements into effective technical designs.Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, documentation, deployment, and ongoing system maintenance.Support application and database modernization across AWS, GCP, and OCI environments.Collaborate with architects, analysts, DevOps engineers, and other developers throughout the software development lifecycle.Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level developers.Required QualificationsStrong experience with Oracle databases, database design, data modeling, schema development, and relational database architecture.Advanced proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL development, debugging, and performance tuning.Hands-on experience designing and developing applications with Oracle APEX.Experience building and maintaining ETL processes, data integrations, and production-grade data pipelines.Strong understanding of data integrity, data quality, database security, and performance optimization.Experience with source control, code reviews, release management, and software development best practices.Experience working in cloud environments, preferably in support of federal government or large enterprise clients.Ability to analyze requirements and produce clear technical designs and documentation.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.Preferred QualificationsExperience with PostgreSQL.Experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.Familiarity with CI/CD automation, infrastructure modernization, and cloud-native development tools.Previous experience in a senior or lead Oracle development role.Experience mentoring or providing technical leadership to other developers.Familiarity with AI-assisted development or agentic AI technologies.Work Authorization This is a remote position supporting federal clients within the United States.
