Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Show Low, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,145 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/1/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg/Progressive Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS Must-Have: - 1-2 years of experience in telemetry, including experience in an acute care setting. - Charge nurse available 24/7. - Nurse managers perform rounds but do not provide patient care. - Support staff includes telemetry techs, charge nurses, and patient care techs. - Common diagnoses include AMI, strokes, pneumonia, renal cases, atrial fibrillation, SIRS, and diabetes management. Description: The unit is a mixed environment with private rooms. It includes 18 beds, with 6 permanent capable of progressive care. Nurses are expected to validate telemetry interpretations regularly. High flow oxygen is provided for patients on COVID step down. Hospitalists are in-house 24/7. Respiratory therapists and pharmacy services are available around the clock. Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:4 for general telemetry and 1:3 for progressive care. Weekend requirements involve working every other weekend, including nights. Staff may float to other medical-surgical units as needed. The unit has the capacity to house COVID patients if necessary.
