Office Assistant / Project Coordinator
OverviewJob DescriptionWe are looking for a detail oriented Office Assistant / Project Coordinator to work closely with project manager and on-site team to provide remote support and maintain accurate project documentation across a variety of inspection, maintenance, and repair projects. The work takes place in an office setting with up to 2 remote days per week after initial probation period of 3 months. Advancement opportunities available.Role And ResponsibilitiesWork closely with assistant project manager and on-site team to maintain accurate project documentation. Review, Update and Color Code drawings in PDF editor. Data entry, review, and reconciliation based on established guidelines. Provide accurate and complete documentation for customer reporting. Maintain professional and timely communication with staff, customers, and AFG management. Job Requirements & QualificationsKnowledge of computer software (Microsoft Word & Excel, Email, and Adobe Acrobat)Efficient with smartphones, tablets, computers, and chosen applications for daily reporting. Demonstrate ability to read, follow, and edit/label Life Safety Plans/Drawings. Demonstrate ability to follow inspection methods and procedures, recognizing and recording deficiencies. Experience in customer service and working with the public and customers. Must be self-motivated and possess the ability to work independently and efficiently. Good verbal and written communication skills. Maintain a professional appearance which includes consistent on-time arrival at office & job sites. 10% out of town travel may be required (30+ miles). Additional RequirementsMust be 18 years of age. Valid driver license preferred. Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentOffice setting with ability for remote work 2 days per week. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally. Working extended hours when required which includes evenings and weekends (compensation provided).
