This position operates under limited supervision to support all offices for the daily operations of the Firm’s financial obligations. Here at JMCo, you'll be met with flexible PTO and work options in an environment where we hold ourselves accountable for getting the work done on our own time.Moore Impactful: At James Moore, we provide solutions to the small businesses that impact our local economies and to non-profits that make a difference where we work and play.Who You AreYou enjoy creating your own path, a path to success not predetermined for you but made with you.You’re flexible, adaptable, and empowered to add your own spin to our uncommon culture inspired by our diverse team members.You relish dynamic work and balancing multiple projects.You have a strong sense of ownership and a willingness to work collaboratively to create and implement successful solutions.You strive to be an expert in your area of practice and diligently pursue relevant credentials and certifications.What You Will Do In This RoleRecord and process accounts payable and cash disbursements.Prepare and process payroll and deductions schedules, including the related scheduled payroll tax deposits.Prepare and process employee expense reimbursements for travel and other “out-of-pocket expenses” as directed by Firm policy guidelines.Prepare quarterly payroll tax returns, year-end W-2s and 1099s.Maintain required records, reports, and files in an organized manner.Perform other related duties as directed by Members of the Firm.Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports.Ensure all payroll taxes are paid on a monthly/quarterly basis.Accurate and timely input of all payroll-related information.Set up payments for 401k remittance and other payroll deduction remittances.Set up new hire employees in payroll software, add benefits and adjustments as necessary.Reconcile payroll accounts and run payroll reports as needed for management.What You'll Bring To The Table2+ years of experience in accounts payable and payroll.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, XLOOKUP, and data filtering/formatting) preferred.Prior experience in UKG, CCH Axcess, Bill.com, and/or Sage Intacct preferred.Good verbal and written communication skills, time management and organization skills and attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks positively and proactively under tight deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency driving results.Benefits Of Joining JMCoWe offer a 4-5% annual contribution to ALL employees through our 401K program, regardless of what they can contribute to their own savings.We pay for 100% of our employees' basic healthcare, dental, and vision coverage.Up to $300 per calendar year for our employee Wellness Program.When you join James Moore and Co., P.L. you are joining a firm that sees you as Moore.
