Orthodontic Dental Assistant - Part TimeSummaryThe Orthodontic Dental Assistant supports orthodontic care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Colorado dental standards. Other duties may be assigned.Assists the doctor in proceduresTakes x-rays Instructs patients on oral hygiene Sterilizes instruments Sets up/breakdown and prepares rooms for treatment/hygiene Education and/or ExperienceCertification from a dental college OR three to six months related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience, preferredRequired Certificates or LicensesColorado X-Ray certification Current BLS certification
