Software QA Automation Engineer
OverviewWe are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join a growing engineering team based in Tempe, AZ. This role will focus on designing, building, and scaling automated testing frameworks to support modern application development.This is a hands-on position suited for someone who enjoys building automation from the ground up and partnering closely with development and DevOps teams.Important Requirements:Candidates must currently reside in the greater Phoenix/Tempe areaThis is an onsite/hybrid role based in Tempe, AZNo Corp-to-Corp (C2C) engagements are permitted for this positionResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applicationsBuild and execute end-to-end, regression, and integration test suitesCollaborate with developers and DevOps teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelinesIdentify gaps in test coverage and implement scalable solutionsTroubleshoot test failures and improve overall test reliabilityContribute to QA strategy, tooling decisions, and best practicesRequired Qualifications3+ years of experience in QA Automation or SDET rolesStrong experience with modern automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or SeleniumExperience building or significantly enhancing automation frameworksFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred)Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practicesExperience working in Agile environmentsPreferred QualificationsExperience with Mabl (strong bonus, not required)Experience with low-code or AI-driven testing toolsExposure to API testing and performance testingScripting experience in JavaScript, Python, or similarWhat We’re Looking ForA builder mindset — someone who can create and improve automation, not just maintain itStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work cross-functionally with engineering teamsSomeone who can quickly learn new tools and adapt to evolving environmentsAdditional DetailsMust be authorized to work in the United StatesMust be able to work onsite in Tempe, AZ as requiredW2 engagement only — C2C arrangements are not available for this opportunity
