Why Join BMP High Speed Doors USA?Growing international manufacturing company Direct impact on company performance and future growth Leadership role with high visibility Opportunity to build and improve manufacturing systems Competitive compensation and benefits package Long-term career growth within BMP Group Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.Computer skills required: Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Inventory Software and ability to quickly adapt to new software.5+ years of experience in a manufacturing operations leadership role, ideally in industrial or mechanical products.Other skills required: Knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources).Knowledge and understanding of lean techniques.Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and able to establish logical practical solutions.Ability to understand manufacturing environment and customer needs to help strategically plan how the Company will meet those needs. Supervisory Responsibilities:Directly supervises 30+ employees within various departments.Lead by example, ensuring a safe and efficient workplace is always maintained.Motivate the team to create a high-performance culture where improvement suggestions are embraced. Utilize interpersonal styles, setting objectives and defining responsibilities to give a clear sense of direction.Sustain and develop team working and team-based problem solving.Communicate with the team by utilizing visual management, delivering shift briefs with focus on quality, cost, delivery, and gathering ideas for improvement.Manage team members, giving direction and feedback to aid good performance.Ability to build effective relationships with work colleagues. General Duties and Responsibilities:Supervise the quality coordinator to ensure Company achieves the required company quality standards ensuring both internal and external customer satisfaction.Using lean manufacturing, strive to exceed the company targets in productivity, efficiency, and quality on a continuous basis.Ensure that Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) are monitored, and targets achieved.Ensure safe working practices are maintained, and “Standard Operations” adhered to.Oversee support functions concerning production planning and resource/skill allocation to ensure delivery of products to schedule within all relevant quality specifications.Work with VP of Sales and Company CEO to plan how the manufacturing plant will adapt to achieve future sales growth.Work with the Plant Manager and other department heads to improve profitability of product lines.Support the implementation of engineering changes, production trials, model change and pilot build.Knowledge of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory, and stewardship processesFull understanding of customer expectations and deliverables with an awareness of the impact of failure/cost of poor quality.Promote Total Productive Maintenance procedures to further improve the availability of the line. Work with maintenance technicians regarding plant or machinery breakdowns.Contribute to the improvement of working procedures by constantly looking for solutions to ensure the best productivity results and ensuring compliance with procedures, operating procedures, and work instructions.Support the resolution of customer concerns. Identify and eliminate root causes using robust countermeasures. Sustain corrective actions to eliminate repeat issues.Ensure that internal delivery processes are adhered to, support dispatch time windows.Ensure all external and internal auditory standards and improvement requirements are met. Physical Demands and Work Environment:Frequently required: to stand, walk, utilize hand and finger dexterity, talk or hear, work near moving mechanical parts, Occasionally required to sit, to bend, stoop, kneel, be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions (non-weather), work around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals, exposure to extreme heat or cold (non-weather), exposure to bloodborne and airborne pathogens or infectious materials, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Hearing protection not required.Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision; distance vision; color vision; peripheral vision; depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
