Java Software Engineer - Scrum Master

Overview In this role you will bridge hands-on software engineering with Agile leadership to advance cloud-native Java microservices for next-generation flight services. You will work within the Air Traffic Business Area to support mission-critical, safety-focused systems modernization in a regulated environment. The position blends coding, design and delivery with Scrum Master responsibilities to help an Agile team achieve predictable sprint outcomes. ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, review, and maintain production-quality cloud-native Java microservicesServe as Scrum Master for an Agile development team, facilitating ceremonies and removing impedimentsLeverage DevSecOps, CI/CD, and modern tooling to accelerate secure software deliveryCoordinate with Release Train Engineer and stakeholders to report status, risks, and progressSupport deployment, operation, and debugging in development, test, and production environmentsMentor junior engineers and promote cross-team collaboration to ensure sprint success Key requirements4+ years of experience designing, developing, testing, and reviewing Java applications1+ year serving as a Scrum Master on a SAFe Agile teamExperience with Web development and front-end tools (React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript)Experience with unit testing (JUnit, Mockito)Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, XSDExperience with Spring Framework, Spring Security, Spring BootExperience with Linux and version control (Git or Subversion)Experience with IDEs such as Eclipse or VS CodeStrong communication skills and ability to work in a regulated environmentAbility to obtain SF-85 Public Trust (Tier 2) suitability determinationUS citizenship requiredcommunicationfacilitationmentoringJavaSpring Framework/Spring BootRESTful APIs
