Physician Internal Medicine - Competitive Salary

This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact while advancing your career in a supportive and professional environment.What You Will Do:You will be responsible for managing a mix of pediatric and adult patients, focusing on chronic pain management, urgent care, and routine health maintenance. Your daily schedule will include a minimum of 18 patient visits per day, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. You will perform timely chart closures, including chronic pain management documentation within 72 hours. The role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a broad spectrum of health conditions, ensuring patients receive compassionate, evidence-based care. Credentialing processes will be initiated immediately, with an expected duration of 30-90 days, and prior to start, you must meet vaccination and immunization requirements, including flu shot, TB test/x-ray, MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and Tdap immunizations. An active DEA license is essential before commencement.Required Skills:Valid medical license in the appropriate stateMinimum of 5 years post-residency experience or truly Board Eligible (BE)Proven ability to manage both pediatric and adult patient populations (will consider Family Medicine only)Strong chart documentation skills, especially in chronic pain managementExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work efficiently within a team-oriented environmentFamiliarity with electronic health records and chart closure requirementsNice to Have Skills:Experience in chronic pain management and urgent care settingsKnowledge of the latest clinical guidelines and protocolsBilingual abilities are a plus but not requiredAdditional certifications in pain management or specialized carePreferred Education and Experience:MD or DO degree from an accredited institutionBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal MedicineAt least 5 years of clinical practice post-residencyOther Requirements:Immunizations as specified for credentialingActive DEA registration before start dateWillingness to comply with a 30-day notice period for ending assignmentsAbility to attend to documentation and administrative requirements in a timely mannerThis is a fantastic opportunity to grow professionally while making a difference in your patients’ lives.
