This role is responsible for greeting guests, answering and directing phone calls, managing front desk operations, and providing administrative support to ensure a welcoming and organized environment in the facility.The Receptionist will report to the Business Office ManagerJOB DUTIES:Greet all residents, family members, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous mannerAnswer and direct incoming phone calls using a multi-line phone systemMaintain sign-in/out logs for visitors and vendors in accordance with facility policiesRespond to inquiries and provide information regarding facility services and proceduresManage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and packagesAssist with scheduling appointments or facility tours as neededSupport administrative staff with clerical tasks including filing, copying, and data entryEnsure the front lobby and reception area are clean, organized, and welcomingUphold HIPAA and resident privacy standards at all timesAssist during emergency procedures by maintaining communication and directing traffic as neededPerform additional administrative tasks or projects as assigned by supervisorREQUIREMENTS:Education / Experience/ SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious receptionist or front desk experience preferred (healthcare or SNF experience a plus)Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and a healthcare setting is beneficialExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProfessional appearance and demeanorStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesBasic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressureBilingual skills (preferred but not required, depending on the facility population)Working Conditions:This position is located in a skilled nursing facility environment with regular interaction with elderly residents and healthcare staffAffirmative Action StatementThe Lodge at Red Rocks Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Care is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
