Technical Engineer – Infrastructure Location: Lenexa, KS (100% onsite) Type: 3–6 Month Contract Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Scope of Work: ServicePoint is seeking a Technical Engineer to serve as the technical lead on infrastructure projects and provide expert guidance across enterprise systems. This role focuses on maintaining, optimizing, and standardizing IT infrastructure while supporting a hybrid environment of Windows, Linux, and network systems. Key Responsibilities: Infrastructure Leadership & Technical Expertise Serve as the technical lead on infrastructure projects, developing specifications and providing expert guidance Establish and enforce technical standards for infrastructure implementation across the organization Support regional and local IT projects with documentation, SOPs, and guidance for internal teams System Administration & Operations Administer and maintain Windows Active Directory and enterprise systems Oversee regional server operations, including performance monitoring, patching, and system upgrades Manage Veeam backups, antivirus solutions, and intrusion detection systems Support and manage hybrid Linux/Windows environments and network devices, coordinating changes with global teams Collaboration & Vendor Management Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to support existing systems and applications Deliver specialized IT support for Executive Leadership, Board members, and HR Partner with regional colleagues to drive process improvements and standardize IT services End-User Support & Change Management Provide desktop support for both Windows and macOS environments Coordinate change management processes and ensure adherence to service desk SLAs Implement and enforce global security policies across North American sites Additional Duties Perform other duties as required to meet business needs Qualifications: Minimum 7 years of IT experience, including senior engineering roles Proven experience configuring, implementing, and maintaining enterprise systems across North America, including servers (IT/OT), network infrastructure, telephony, and virtualization platforms (VMware) Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach to service delivery Experience with hybrid Linux/Windows environments and network devices Why Join Us?
