Join us in creating an inclusive, innovative, and collaborative workplace where your talents can thrive.Azure DevOps EngineerLocation: Onsite in Suburb of Milwaukee, Wisconsin Employment Type: Contract-to-HirePosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to support the design, implementation, and ongoing optimization of cloud infrastructure and CI/CD practices within a modern Azure environment.This role will partner closely with development, security, and operations teams to automate deployments, improve system reliability, and enable scalable, cloud-native solutions. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience with Azure, Infrastructure as Code, and containerized environments, along with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOpsBuild and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using TerraformProvision and operate cloud infrastructure within Microsoft AzureDeploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes (AKS)Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for cloud environmentsCollaborate with development teams to improve build, release, and deployment processesEnforce best practices for security, scalability, availability, and cost optimizationTroubleshoot infrastructure, pipeline, and deployment issuesContribute to architecture decisions and continuous improvement initiativesRequired Qualifications3+ years of experience in a DevOps Engineer or similar roleStrong hands-on experience with Microsoft AzureExpertise in Infrastructure as Code, particularly TerraformExperience with Kubernetes, preferably Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)Experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines, Git, and CI/CD conceptsFamiliarity with containerization using DockerStrong understanding of cloud networking, identity, and security principlesExperience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar)Preferred QualificationsAzure certifications (e.g., AZ-400, AZ-104)Experience with Helm, Kustomize, or GitOps toolsFamiliarity with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or PrometheusExperience implementing security and compliance controls in cloud environmentsBackground working in Agile/Scrum environmentsWork EnvironmentCollaborative, cross-functional engineering environmentOpportunity to contribute to cloud architecture and DevOps maturityFocus on automation, reliability, and scalable infrastructure practicesEqual Opportunity & AI DisclosureCodeworks, an LRS Company, is an equal opportunity employer.
