Job Title: Research Nurse Recruiter Location: Columbus, OH Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $40 - $50 /hr  Contractor Work Model: Hybrid  Hours: 20–30 hours per week (guaranteed at least 20 hours)Overview The Research Nurse is a specialized hybrid role focused on clinical patient recruitment and oversight. This position is a direct-hire, part-time role (20–30 hours per week). It combines licensed nursing responsibilities with deep-dive clinical data analysis to identify and engage potential participants for large-scale clinical trials. This role is ideal for a "jack-of-all-trades" professional who possesses a high degree of curiosity, clinical judgment, and advanced proficiency in EPIC. Responsibilities Identify, recruit, and pre-screen potential study participants using EMR/EHR systems and databases following practice-specific access and communication protocolsInteract with private practice partners (COPC, OKC, CN) to ensure knowledge of patient participation and facilitate questions as they ariseDevelop and implement recruitment strategiesMaintain screening logs and track recruitment metricsCollaborate with study teams to ensure study goals are metAct as a liaison between participants, study team, and SOC providersProvide staff education and trainingObtain Informed consent and perform clinical procedures aligned with study protocols (EKG, spirometry, etc.)Perform skilled nursing procedures (infusions, assessments, etc.) and monitor patient safety and adverse eventsEducate study participants on clinical conditions and clinical trial proceduresRequirementsActive Ohio nursing license (RN)Experience in clinical research or healthcareFamiliarity with EMR/EHR systemsKnowledge of GCP, FDA regulations, and HIPAAStrong clinical skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to decipher medical charting conventions and apply to clinical trial protocolsAttention to detail and strong analytical skillsSystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
